Your Training Path in Athens
Training in Athens with Dr George Mireas is designed for surgeons who want meaningful exposure to contemporary rhinoplasty within an active clinical and operative environment rather than a purely observational experience.
The pathway combines case-based learning, live surgery, planning, technique analysis and progressive understanding of primary and revision rhinoplasty under an approved ERM – EAFPS tutor.
What Training in Athens Looks Like
The Athens ERM training pathway is centered on real rhinoplasty practice. Scholars are exposed to the full logic of case assessment, preoperative planning, intraoperative strategy and postoperative thinking within an active surgical environment.
Training takes place mainly at Mediterraneo Hospital and Therapis Hospital, where Dr George Mireas performs approximately 150 rhinoplasties per year, including both primary and revision cases.
The aim is not only to observe surgery, but to understand how modern rhinoplasty is planned, executed and evaluated across a wide range of cases and techniques.

Contemporary rhinoplasty training should reflect contemporary practice. The Athens center incorporates Vectra 3D simulation, ultrasonic piezo, powered burrs and advanced grafting strategies into everyday rhinoplasty planning and execution.
