Eligibility

Admission is intended for qualified surgical graduates seeking structured postgraduate training in facial plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.

The fellowship is designed for applicants with an appropriate surgical background who are prepared to participate in a clinically active, academically structured and professionally demanding training program.

Selection is based on training background, professional suitability, communication ability and overall alignment with the goals and expectations of the fellowship. Applicants are encouraged to review the overall Fellowship Program, the Training Pathway and the Participation page before applying.

Because the program combines clinical service, supervised surgical exposure, academic participation and research engagement, applicants should be ready for an active and responsibility-based training environment.

Core Eligibility Criteria

Surgical Background

Successful completion of a residency training program in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, or Plastic Surgery.

Equivalent Qualification

Alternatively, an equivalent qualification obtained in another country that is recognized by the competent authorities as eligible for obtaining a temporary or permanent medical licence in Cyprus or Greece.

Language Proficiency

Demonstrated proficiency in English sufficient for clinical communication, academic participation and research activity.

Professional Suitability

Ability to function within a supervised clinical and academic environment with professionalism, responsibility and commitment to patient safety.

Additional Notes

Knowledge of the Greek language is considered advantageous but is not a prerequisite for admission.

Applicants should also be prepared to engage actively in teaching sessions, case discussions, research-related work and the general responsibilities of a postgraduate training environment.

Selection Considerations

Applications are reviewed in relation to prior training, professional background, communication skills, academic potential and overall suitability for the structure and expectations of the fellowship.

The program accepts a limited number of fellows each year in order to maintain close supervision, meaningful operative exposure and a high-quality educational experience.

Favorable Qualifications

Although not mandatory, prior academic or research-related experience may strengthen an application.
