Surgical Exposure & Case Volume
Structured, progressive surgical training with real clinical exposure across aesthetic and reconstructive facial procedures.
The fellowship is designed to provide consistent and progressively increasing exposure to facial plastic surgical procedures. Fellows are integrated into daily clinical practice and operating room activity, participating in pre-operative planning, intraoperative workflow and post-operative management.
Surgical involvement evolves over time based on individual performance, experience and faculty assessment, following a competency-based training model.
Estimated Annual Case Volume
Based on recent program activity, fellows may be exposed to approximately 300–400 facial surgical procedures over the 12-month training period.
- Rhinoplasty & Septorhinoplasty: 50–70 cases
- Blepharoplasty: 150–200 cases
- Facelift & Neck Lift: 80–100 cases
- Fat Grafting: 40–60 cases
- Otoplasty: 15–25 cases
- Reconstructive & Trauma Cases: variable exposure

Early Phase
Observation, assistance and exposure to surgical planning, patient positioning and intraoperative workflow.
Intermediate Phase
Active participation in selected surgical steps under supervision, including suturing, dissection and assistance.
Advanced Phase
Increased operative responsibility in selected cases, depending on demonstrated competence and faculty approval.
Educational Philosophy
The fellowship emphasizes not only case numbers but also depth of understanding, decision-making and surgical judgment.
Fellows are encouraged to analyze each case from indication to outcome, including complication management and long-term follow-up.
